Churaumi Aquarium, Okinawa Zoo open for business

Two big attractions on Okinawa recently reopened: the Chura Umi Aquarium and Okinawa Zoo and Museum.

Visitors at both places are required to wear masks, sanitize their hands with antiseptics at the entrance, and are expected to maintain a two-meter distance from others.

Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. (last admission 5:30 p.m.)

Admission Fee (8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.): 1,880 yen for adult, 1,250 yen for high school student, 620 yen for middle and elementary school student, free admission for under the age of six.

Admission Fee (4 p.m. –): 1,310 yen for adult, 870 yen for high school student, 430 yen for middle and elementary school student, free admission for under the age of 6.

Okinawa Zoo & Museum

*Closed on Tuesday

Admission Fee: 500 yen for adult, 200 yen for ages 13 -18, 100 yen for ages 4-12, free admission for 3 and under.
