I‘ve said it before – Tokyo is a city of thousand layers and there is a lot more to this sprawling metropolis than its biggest tourist destinations I listed in my Tokyo Guide for First Time Visitors.

Nakijin Castle is lit up at night, and the path leading to the castle from the gate is lined with candles under clouds of freshly bloomed cherry blossoms. Enjoy traditional Okinawan food and entertainment, including dances and drums performed on stage during the festival.
 

While you’re in Chiang Mai here are a few famous Wats to check out along with the area’s many historical sites and rich cultural heritage.

During my last trip to Kansai region I aimed to see places where I hadn’t been before. I got to tour Nara, off-the-beaten-path Katsuo-ji Temple in Osaka and a few unique shrines in Kyoto.

When we think of a perfect vacation, we always imagine sweeping ocean views, sand in our toes and a cocktail in our hand. But not all travels are created equally idyllic and go as smoothly as initially planned. In fact, there are more than one thing that can go wrong or can mess up your blissful getaway.

We picked Auckland to be our base during our time on the northern island. Everybody connects with the destinations they visit differently. Since I read that Auckland is the biggest and the most cosmopolitan city in New Zealand, I imagined it to be a concrete jungle that never sleeps.
