Hansen Festival returns on Feb. 8 and 9

With the arrival of cherry blossoms on Okinawa, so is the arrival of a new festival season.

Head to Camp Hansen’s festival on Feb. 8 and Feb. 9 for live music, food and fun on the Marine Corps facility.

This year, country music group Parmalee will grace the audience with hit songs “Carolina” and “Just the Way,” starting at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8.

Head there beforehand for military static displays, inflatable bounce houses, games and more. Festival foods such as steak tortillas, beef brisket, pizzas, and hamburgers will help keep the keep the good times rolling.

Mark your calendars and get ready for another great season of festivals on the island!

Hansen Festival

Date: Feb. 8 – 9 (Sat. and Sun)

Time: 2 – 10 p.m. (Saturday), 1– 9 p.m. (Sunday) 

Location: Camp Hansen Parade Deck

Admission: Free (Open to SOFA personnel, and U.S. and Japanese citizens)

*MCCS will provide shuttle buses from designated parking areas to and from the event site.

*No pets, outside alcohol, glass bottles or coolers are allowed.
