Okinawa’s Bios on the Hill to close temporarily due to state of emergency

Bios on the Hill, an eco-friendly theme Park in Iruma City, will close temporarily due to the government-imposed state of emergency on the island.

On Jan. 19 the Okinawa Prefectural Government declared a state of emergency due to rising COVID-19 infection rates. The declaration is valid through Feb. 7, according to media reports.

Bios on the Hill will remain closed through the month, but management indicated there are plans for limited hours on the weekends once the state of emergency is lifted.
