Okinawa’s famous Churaumi Aquarium reopens
The Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium reopened June 1 after an almost two-month closure because of the COVID-19 outbreak.
The aquarium has many health measures in place, including checking the temperatures of visitors at the entrance. Visitors are also required to wear masks, sanitize their hands with antiseptics at the entrance, and are expected to maintain a two-meter distance from others.
Some attractions and programs are still unavailable, including the dolphin show.
