Do you paintball? If so, Navy MWR Okinawa has the fields for you!

Formerly X-Splat Paintball, Jungle Raid Paintball is now open near White Beach Naval Facility and is offering three distinct playing fields – Combat Town, hyperball and the jungle field.

“For years we only had the jungle field,” says Doug Godown, Paintball Manager. “But we had some old buildings and some obstacles laying around and so combat town was born!”

A special price of $20/per person includes all gear, food and prizes for the winners. Tournament-style play will be the theme of the day, using all fields to eliminate teams down to the final winners.

Combat town offers plenty of places to hide in a city-like setting. Hollowed buildings, abandoned oil tanks, wooden obstacles and bunkers are spread across the area. A large structure in the middle with a flag pole can be a place to hide or a place to “capture the flag” of the other team.

The Jungle field offers three distinct areas of play. Each area offers players a unique view of the jungle field and more ways to hide from your opponents!

The hyperball field is an open area with netting and spools designed for high-velocity play. You need to be ready to run when using this field.

Jungle Raid Paintball offers open play every Saturday from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. The facility offers the marker (paintball gun), mask, field fee and paint for $40 per person, or patrons can bring their own markers and mask but they must use the field’s paint.  Reservations are required Sunday through Friday for private field play with groups of 10 or more.

“You can do command PT with us, celebrate a birthday, a promotion, really any event is a perfect excuse to paintball,” Godown said.

For more information or to setup your reservation, please call Doug at 080-6485-1680. You can also find pricing and more information on Navy MWR’s website at www.navymwrokinawa.com or follow them on facebook, Instagram or twitter @navymwrokinawa.

They also have a mobile app that is free to download from the app store or google play store. Search “Navy MWR Japan” and set the app to Okinawa. The app offers information about Navy MWR programs and events and includes maps to the paintball facility.
