Pop-up theme park in Naha returns for summer

Starting Saturday July 23, KIDS FESTIVAL ADVENTURE WORLD, a pop-up theme park, is coming back to the island. This time, the venue will be Naminoue Umi-sora Park in Naha City.

Attractions include dinosaur shows, a 30-meter slide, inflatable bounce houses, a pool, go-kart, trampoline, kiddie disco and more. Plus, there will be an exhibition of huge insects and nighttime pool as related events.

Although parking is available in the park. If you have trouble locating it, look for Naha Beach Side Hotel (N 26.2199305, E 127.6670313) near the venue.

 

 

KIDS FESTIVAL ADVENTURE WORLD

Date: July 23 – August. 14 (Closed on Mondays)

Hours: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. (close 9 p.m. on Saturdays)

Venue: Naminoue Umi-sora Park

Parking coordinates: N 26.220488, E 127.664592 (maximum fee 500 yen for a day)

Fees: Each attraction costs 300 – 800 yen.

All-day attraction pass: 2,800 yen per child (advance ticket 2,500 yen).

Nighttime pool admission: 2,000 yen per adult (advance ticket 1,500 yen).

Insect exhibit entry ticket: 1,200 yen (advance ticket 1,000 yen).

*All-day passes are available at convenience stores (Lawson, Family Mart, Seven Eleven)
