Pop-up theme park opening for one week near MCAS Futenma
Starting this weekend, a pop-up theme park will be bringing some fun to families near MCAS Futenma.
The Kids Festival Adventure World will run from Friday, April 29 through Thursday, May 5, at the grounds of the Ginowan Dome. The Golden Week event will host many activities including a dinosaur show, a “gigantic” water slider, various inflatable bounce castles, pools, go-karts, trampolines, and more.
Each attraction costs between 300 to 800 yen (approx. $3 to $8) and free-pass tickets are also available at the gate for 2,800 yen, which allows a kid to enjoy attractions without paying each time. Get discounted free-pass tickets at Family Mart and Lawson convenience stores for 2,500 yen.
Kodomo no Hi, or Children’s Day in Japan, falls on May 5, so take the opportunity to celebrate the kids in your family with some fun at the pop-up theme park!
