Salsa Machine to bring hot Latin rhythm to Okinawa on Aug. 31
Maykel Blanco y su Salsa Mayor a.k.a. “La máquina musical de Cuba” (The Cuban Music Machine) is bringing hot Latin sounds from Cuba to Okinawa.
Under the leadership of Maykel Blanco, regarded as one of the most talented musicians in Cuba, the band rose to stardom in the very competitive music scene in Cuba, achieving fame in Europe as well as their own country.
This concert in Okinawa is scheduled to be part of the band’s first tour in Japan since 2015.
Maykel Blanco and his band Salsa Mayor is expected to entertain fans on the subtropical island with their modern timba/salsa tunes and hot dance beats.
