- Okinawa Ken Sogo Undo Koen: A 25-meter indoor pool is open 9 a.m. – 8:45 p.m. from January 5 through December 27. 240 yen for adults and college/university students, 120 yen for high schoolers and below (May – September); 490 yen for adults and college/university students, 240 yen for high schoolers and below (Oct – April); 50-meter outdoor pool is open 9-7 p.m. from May through September. 240 yen for adults and college/university students, 120 yen for schoolers and below; Recreation pool is open 9:30 a.m. – 5:45 pm. on Saturdays, Sundays, and Japanese Public Holidays from April through September except July and August, during which the pool is open 9:30 a.m.- 6:15 p.m. everyday except Tuesdays; 860 yen for those above 18 years old, 430 yen for ages between 6 and 18, 100 yen for ages between 3 and 5, free admission for 2 years old and under; Closed on Tuesdays. 20-minute ride from Gate 2 of Kadena Air Base; 098-930-5716 (Japanese).
- Majunland Swimming Pool: Open year-round, 9 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Closed on second Monday; swimming pools, including those for water walking, swimming machine, Jacuzzi, foot pressure points and more. Located in ANA MAJUNLAND URASOE; For residents of Urasoe city, 800 yen for adults, 400 yen for elementary and middle and high school students.
