Tokyo Disneyland, DisneySea extend closure until early April

In response to Prime Minister Abe's call for a 10-day extension of cancellation, postponement or scale down for upcoming major events, Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea extended the closure indefinitely, the resort reported via its homepage Mar. 11.

Tokyo Disney Resort has been closed since Feb. 29 due to coronavirus outbreak and was originally planned to reopen the parks Mar. 16.

The parks will be closed at least until early April; the exact date they will reopen has yet to be determined.
