Make plans for a fun weekend in Urasoe, the host municipality of Camp Kinser, for the annual Tedako Pocket Festa running Oct. 18-19.

The festival will take place at several venues near Urasoe Art Museum and will include live entertainment, food booths and even a pop-up theme park.

The venues are about a 20-minute walk from Camp Kinser’s Gate 2. No parking will be available, so plan ahead.

Urasoe Culture Park Tedako Hiroba will have the main stage with many performers scheduled to put on a show and at ANA Arena Urasoe, a pop-up theme park for kids, will be avaiable. Many food booths will line up at the parking areas of the museum and Tedako Hall.

Plus, Yafuso Odori near Camp Kinser will be a car-free zone to host a pre-event celebration Oct. 17.

Let’s join the festivities in Camp Kinser’s neighborhood.
