Visit Yachimun no Sato, about a 10-minute drive away from Torii Station, to watch the village’s skilled artisans make “Yachimun” pottery and glass arts. These works of art are the signature craft of the village. Although touring the studios often requires notice in advance, most studios have sections open to visitors. Take a look at the large kilns and traditional buildings for a glimpse into the days of old Okinawa.
