Matsuda Shonyudo, a group of large caves in Ginoza Village, offers opportunities to try your hand at spelunking or cave exploration. These caves are on the island's eastern coast, in the same municipality which hosts the Camp Hansen and Camp Schwab training ranges.

An afternoon having a “big adventure to an underworld” is a great way to cool off and explore another side of the island. The limestone caves are full of stalactites, underground waterways and more. While you’re there, keep an eye out for some of the many creatures that call Matsuda Shonyudo like bats and prawn.

Make sure to call and reserve a guide before your visit. Stay cool and get ready for an adventure on the island!
