Winter in Okinawa may be a little too chilly for a swim, but it’s great weather for a refreshing hike through mother nature. Hiji Otaki, or Hiji Waterfall, is a great destination for exploring on the northern part of Okinawa. This 84-foot-high waterfall in Kunigami Village is the largest on the main island and is a place where people can enjoy the diverse landscape of Yambaru through camping and hiking.
