Every April, Kijoka, an area famous for its waterfalls, becomes the site for another photogenic beauty: the blooming of tall irises. Known as iris ochroleuca, these flowers bloom and carpet the paddy fields with rich green and purple color. Join us as we visit the fields in Oogimi Village to see as the flowers of spring return to Okinawa.
