High above the shimmering blue sea, the ruins of Nakagusuku Castle offer a stunning view of both the eastern and western coasts of Okinawa’s main island. The original castle is thought to have been constructed sometime during the 14th or 15th centuries and in 2000, the ruins received certification as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy a walk with great views and some history at this point of interest.
