VIDEO| New Aquarium Debuts in Okinawa

A new attraction is dazzling visitors and unsuspecting shoppers at the new iias Okinawa Toyozaki Mall. Immerse yourself in the wonders of the ocean at the DMM Kariyushi Suizokukan, a new aquarium which opened in May.

You will be treated to an up-close look at about 190 species of sea creatures including tropical fish, sharks, rays, otters, and penguins and interactive art and light displays.

The aquarium and mall are a 20-minute drive from Naha Airport. Shopping and marine life sound like a great way to spend with your family!

Fees: 2,400 yen (18 years old and above), 2,000 yen (ages between 13 and 17), 1,500 yen (ages between 4 and 12)
