Here’s another way to check in with friends and family. Sometimes a simple question like “Are you alright?” is enough to cheer up our loved ones.
Do you have any friends or coworkers in mind?  Then, let's have fun and practice our Japanese when we check in.

Today's Japanese phrase is:
"Ogenki desuka?" = Are you all right?
If someone asks how you are doing answer with the following phrases:
"Genki desu." = I'm all right.
"Maamaa desu." = So-so.
"Choshi warui desu." = I don't feel well.
"Byoki desu." = I'm sick.
