With the temperature being what it is in Okinawa, there’s always a chance of encountering habu snakes in no matter what season you go out on the island. So next time, you go on a trip and explore nature on the sub-tropical island, keep this phrase in mind:
“Habu ni chuui shite kudasai,” which means, “Please watch out for habu snakes.”
(“habu” – habu snake, “chuui” – care/attention, “kudasai” – Please ~)
