VIDEO: Speakin’ Japanese: Please drive safely
When we are going out, here’s a useful phrase you might want to keep in mind.
“Anzen unten wo kokoro gakete kudasai,” which means “Please drive safely,” or “(Please) make sure you drive safely.”
“Anzen unten wo kokoro gakete kudasai,” = Please drive safely / make sure you drive safely
(“Anzen” – safe / safety, “Unten” –drive, “Kokoro Gakete” – keep in mind / make sure, “Kudasai” – please)
Repeat after me: “Anzen unten wo kokoro gakete kudasai”.
OK, be careful out there, and see you in the next episode of Speakin’ Japanese!
