VIDEO: Speakin' Japanese: It makes me feel as if I went back in time!
Hagi in Yamaguchi Prefecture is a small yet fascinating castle town filled with a classical Japanese atmosphere and UNESCO World Heritage sites. Hagi is only a two-hour drive from MCAS Iwakuni.
Walking in the town’s samurai district and castle ruins make me feel like I’ve traveled back in time.
Today's Japanese phrase:
“Kakoni mayoikonda yo desu!” 過去に迷い込んだようです！ = It makes me feel as if I went back in time!
("kako" 過去 = the past, "ni" に = into, "mayoikonda" 迷い込んだ = strayed off, ".. yo desu" ようです = it is like ...)
Hagi is a very beautiful town filled with countless tourist attractions great for a day trip!
