VIDEO: Speakin' Japanese: Let's check up our cars periodically!

You know, while driving, the dash panel of my car suddenly started beeping with the red “check engine” light and I was shocked. I immediately drove to the nearest gas station to have the engine oil topped off and the rest of my vehicle checked for any issues.

Now I know I should check my car more often so that in the future I can avoid such trouble.

Today's Japanese phrase:

“Tokidoki tenken shimasho!” ときどき点検しましょう! = Let's check up our cars periodically!

 ("tokidoki" 時々 = sometimes/periodically, "tenken" 点検 = inspection/checkup, ".. shimasho" しましょう = Let's do ..)

Don't forget to check up your car and safe driving!
