We're in the coldest time of the year. But early spring blossoms have already started blooming.
Lovely white Narcissus blossoms are at full bloom on Jogashima Island, a tiny island off the south end of Miura Peninsula, heralding the arrival of spring.
Today's Japanese phrase:
“Mosugu haru desune!” もうすぐ春ですね！ = Spring is just around the corner!
“mosugu" もうすぐ = before long, "haru" 春 = spring, ".. desune" ですね =It is.., isnt'it?
You can also say:
"Mosugu tanjobi desune!" もうすぐ誕生日ですね！ = Your birthday is around the corner!
"Mosugu shumatsu desune" もうすぐ週末ですね！= Weekend is around the corner!
