When ships make a port call to White Beach, the naval facility, which is often a quiet place, is buzzing with activity. On April 25 and 26 expect some more excitement as White Beach Festival returns.

Enjoy live entertainment like a wadaiko (Japanese drum) performance, Okinawan pop concert, and a hula dance performance. There will also be static displays, a flyboard demonstration, a vintage car exhibition (scheduled for Sunday), and more. Face painting will also be available.

Jointly hosted by the U.S. Navy and the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF), this festival’s main feature will be a ship tour.

Needless to say, there will be tons of festival food to choose from.

Come to White Beach for this fun-packed weekend.
