AEIS students gathered in the gym for the kickoff ceremony to Red Ribbon Week.

We were honored to host MAJ P.J. Snyder, BN Executive Officer of the 1st Battalion, 1st Air Defense Artillery Regiment, as our distinguished visitor and guest speaker.

At the end of the ceremony, MAJ Snyder, Ms. Cooley, and Dr. Federico presented keys to class representatives to highlight the Red Ribbon Week Theme, “Your Future is Key, So Stay Drug Free”.

Red Ribbon Week has become a major force for raising awareness and mobilizing communities to combat alcohol, drug, and tobacco use.

The DoD has officially participated in this event since 1990, with the aim of reducing drug abuse among its members and their families.
