OKINAWA

We are still in the middle of a typhoon season. Although you may not have been hit hard by a typhoon this year, it is important to stay alert. So, let’s try this phrase.

“Taifuu ni sonae mashou”, which means, “Let’s prepare for a typhoon.”

Repeat after me.

“Taifuu ni sonae mashou” (“Taifuu” – typhoon “Sonae Mashou” – Let’s prepare)

Having an emergency kit ready with water, emergency food, and a flashlight is a good idea.

Stay safe and see you in the next episode of Speakin’ Japanese!
