A group of sailors aboard the USS America will soon be enjoying some cookies thanks to a donation from a troop of Girl Scouts from Camp Courtney.

Brownie Troop #04 mailed off a case of cookies and homemade cards to the ship on Mar. 26. The donation, troop leader Shellii Roach said, was made with funds from the group.

“I know it’ll lift the spirits of those aboard USS America,” Roach said.

The USS America is currently stationed at Sasebo Naval Base, Japan.
