U.S. Marines and Sailors with III Marine Expeditionary Force participate in a 5-kilometer hike on Camp Courtney, Okinawa, Japan, Nov. 21, 2023. Conditioning hikes prepare Marines and Sailors for long distance movements with a designated fighting load and provide commanders an assessment of unit’s fitness level.
