New Year’s resolutions tends to be easy to say, but difficult to achieve.

Try this phrase to help you and others remember and stick to resolutions.

“Anata no shinnen no houfu wa nan-desuka?” which means “What is your New Year’s resolution?”

(“Anata” – you, “no” – of, “Shinnen” – new year, “houfu” – resolution, “wa” – a particle to indicate a subject, “nan-desuka?” – what is ~?)

OK, good luck on achieving your New Year’s resolutions! Stay safe and see you in the next episode of Speakin’ Japanese!
