It’s been more than a year since a massive fire broke out at Shurijo Castle Park. Although there’s still a long way to go for its reconstruction, local traditions there carry on strong.

To pray for the castle’s comeback, let’s try this phrase:

“Shurijo saiken wo ouen shimasho”, which means “Let’s support Shurijo Castle’s reconstruction.”

(“Saiken” – Reconstruction, “Ouen” – support/rooting, “Shimasho” – let’s ~)
