Wrap up the summer season with some delicious dishes at Ginowan Hills Street (Route 81)’s Food Festa on Aug. 31.
Dozens of eateries and shops in the Ginowan Hills Street neighborhood near Camp Foster and MCAS Futenma will be serving up plenty of food like roasted chicken, curry rice and sweets.
The neighborhood, home to a variety of eateries, cafes and shops, will also have food trucks and tents lining the sidewalks during the event. There will also be giveaways, so get there early!
Starting at 7 p.m., some organizers will also host a “birthday party” for Tasha Tudor, an American illustrator and children’s book author. The venue will be “Tarsha”, an eatery in the area named after her. If you are a fan of her works like “Pumpkin Moonshine” or “Corgi Ville Fair,” this is a great opportunity to celebrate the internationally acclaimed author on what would have been her 109th birthday with other fans.
