One of my favorite places to eat is TAJ OKINAWA, located on 23 close to Kadena Air Base. The specialty at this restaurant is Indian Curry. The food is delicious with my favorite being the Chicken Butter Curry and Naan bread. The location is newly moved and not hard to find. You can get to it by leaving out of Gate One Kadena (turn left) and taking a left at the 2nd light (putting you on 23). You will find TAJ OKINAWA half a mile up on the left hand side of the road. It is certainly worth a try. Inside you will find a nice set up of Indian culture and cuisine. The restaurant can be pricy to some with a meal for two ranging from 3,300 yen to 5100 yen (from personal experience), but defiantly tasty. The restaurant is clean and welcoming and the family-owned business is ready to take your order. The accept dollar, yen, or your credit card.
