Tell us about your job and what you do: I perform general administrative and clerical duties which includes consolidation of leave and other requests for review and approval. I establish internal procedures and controls for administrative operations that assists management analysis studies pertaining to organizational staffing, work flow and tasking while making recommendations for work environment improvement.
How long have you been in this position? Eight months
What other duties are you responsible for? My other duties include administering correspondence control point pertaining to receipt, routing and proper disposition of incoming and outgoing tasks and correspondence. I initiate and/or prepare personnel forms for processing, prepares activity instructions, reports, notices, memorandums and other correspondence as required.
What are some of your accomplishments while at LRC-Okinawa? Creating a great working environment amongst peers and supervisors alike.
How long have you been working for the U.S. Army? 8 months
Why did you want to work with the U.S. Military? To learn different a culture and English.
What other positions have you held with the U.S. Military? I was a bartender, waitress, counter attendant, administrative assistant, and cashier.
What is the best thing about working at LRC-Okinawa? It is a great learning environment internally and externally of how the Army Logistics Readiness Center operates in supporting external units.
What do you like to do in your free time? Explore Okinawa.
Do you have a special skill or talent you would like to share? I have cosmetology license.
What is your personal motto/philosophy? One person can make difference. I believe that my job here at LRC-Okinawa contributes to the success of the organization. This is why I do my best all the time.
