U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Joshua Upright with Marine Corps Base Camp Butler explosive ordnance disposal, Marine Corps Installations Pacific, gives a briefing of EOD robots and its capabilities to students from Chiba Institute of Science on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 4, 2025. Upright is a native of San Mateo, Florida. Students major in crisis management and plan to work in public service field after graduating their school. During the visit, students learn and gain knowledge of the daily EOD roles and responsibilities to keep the base safe.
