Greg Ferlin, a motor transportation operator with 3d Transportation Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 3, 3d Marine Logistics Group, and Stoneboro, Pennsylvania, native, commemorates the service members killed in action during operations at Hamid Karzai International Airport, on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, Sep. 3, 2021. The 13 service members died Aug. 26, 2021 as the result of an enemy attack while supporting non-combatant evacuation operations in Kabul, Afghanistan.
