Why do you love working at the USO?
I love working at the USO because I learn so much from our volunteers, patrons, and my colleagues. We have a lot of fun while serving others and providing a comfortable and supportive environment for service members.
What is your favorite memory of working at the USO?
When I first moved to Okinawa, I started volunteering at the USO to meet people and learn more about my new home. I’ll always remember the kindness and welcoming nature of the USO staff and volunteers.
FEATURED PROGRAM:
We have Karaoke Night on the third Friday of every month, 5PM-9PM. It’s a lot of fun and people can sing, read poetry, recite monologues and/or speeches, play instruments, and/or enjoy other resources in our center like the pool tables and gaming room. We provide snacks and refreshments, and it’s free! We’re always impressed with the amazing talent in our community and would love to see everyone there! Check out our Facebook at USO Hansen for the most up to date information.
