This summer has been brutally hot, but how about some chills to stay cool?

When I’m vacationing on Okinawa, I love grabbing acai bowls for a late breakfast or early lunch. My usual spot is in Chatan, but I heard about Hawaiian Bowls and wanted to give it a try.

First of all, Agu No Kakurega Chatan is easy to miss, even with GPS. And when it comes to parking, the restaurant only has two spots. Luckily one of them right outside the entrance was open when we arrived.

During a recent trip to Okinawa, I accidently discovered an awesome pancake shop in Chatan called Harbor while on a search for some sweet souvenirs from Timeless Chocolate.

I love pugs. They are my favorite loaves of snoring, drooling, and heavy shedding fur animals.

Though Okinawa is home to beautiful beaches to enjoy the crystal waters surrounding the island, you can also enjoy an adventure while kayaking in some of the area’s rivers.
