Summer is almost over but you can mark the end not with sadness but with a rainbow at Color Fun Run at Okuma Beach.
Head to the beach for a colorful time on Aug. 31. Signups start at 4 p.m. and the one-and-a-half-mile fun run starts at 5:30 p.m.
This is an open gate event that welcomes all ages. Organizers recommend bringing a towel, sunglasses and goggles for the little ones for protection from the colorful powder bursts throughout the course.
Add a little color to end your summer right at Okuma Beach!

Location: Outdoor Recreation Equipment Rental Parking Lot on Okuma Beach (26.737647, 128.158990)
Time: 5:30 p.m. run start time
*Gate is open between 3 and 8 p.m. Sign-up begins at 4 p.m.
*Entry fee costs $15, which includes a T-shirt and towel.
*17 years old or under need to be accompanied by guardians. Ages 16 and above need to show an ID.
