Miyajima Island, near MCAS Iwakuni, is known as one of the three greatest views in Japan. Amano Hashidate in Kyoto and Matsushima in Miyagi Prefecture are the other two. Miyajima is referred to as the Island of God, and locals are not allowed to give a birth or die on the island. So, there are no tombs on the island. Be aware!
