Summer is the season for horror in Japan. Cool down with a chill at haunted houses and other spooky activities.
At Aeon Mall Okinawa Rycom, you can test your nerves starting July 19 at “EYAMI, THE SACRIFICE OF HORROR.” The horror haunted house is based on television horror drama called “Continued Plague (Eyami) -Sacrifice-,” and will open on the third floor of the mall.
Eyami means epidemic in Japanese, which refers to calamities caused by Nehiyasama, a mysterious god in the show.
Even if you are not a horror fan, there’s no need to worry. You can choose the level of horror among four options.
Head on over for goosebump-raising thrills and forget about the hill at this fun, haunted house.

Hours: 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. (last admission at 8:30 p.m.)
Admission: 1,000 yen for middle school age and above, 600 yen for between three years old and elementary school age. Free admission for 2 years old and below.
