Fujitozan wo shitai desu. (富士登山をしたいです) = I want to climb Mt. Fuji.

Dono ruuto kara noborimasu ka? (どのルートから登りますか?) = Which trail are you going to take?

Doyatte Fujisan ni ikemasuka? (どうやって富士山に行けますか?) = How can I go to Mt. Fuji?

Doyatte nyuzanryo wo haraemasu ka? (どうやって入山料を払えますか?) = How can I make an admission payment?

Yukkuri nobori masyo. (ゆっくり登りましょう) = Take one step at a time.

Hiyakedome wa motimashita ka? (日焼け止めは持ちましたか?) = Have you got your sunblock cream?

Sukoshi yasumi masho! (少し休みましょう) = Let’s take a short rest!

Ato moh chotto desu! (あともうちょっとです) = We are almost there!

Yatta! Tochaku desu! (やった! 到着です!) = Nailed it! We reached the goal!

Subarashii nagame desu! (素晴らしい眺めです!) = What a wonderful view!

Shashin wo tori masho! (写真を撮りましょう!) = Let’s take some photos!

Pronunciation key: “A” is short (like “ah”); “E” is short (like “get”); “I” is short (like “it”); “O” is long (like “old”); “U” is long (like “tube”); and “AI” is a long “I” (like “hike”). Most words are pronounced with equal emphasis on each syllable, but “OU” is a long “O” with emphasis on that syllable.
