They say if you travel, you will never be the same. The memories, the photos, the experiences … there is nothing greater than taking yourself to a new place and experiencing a completely new world. This is the wonderful part.

The not-so-fun part is the planning and packing! When you book your own travel, there’s food, hotels, clothes, and transportation to worry about. For the planner in your family, it can be daunting task to make sure all members are ready to go. To ease stress right before your adventure, a trip checklist can really help.

The trick to making a trip checklist is to think of categories. Which things can be packed in advance? What needs to be grabbed right before locking the door?
