Nakijin Village in the northern part of Motobu Peninsula and Yagaji Island on the other side of an inland sea offer great destinations for your chill-out day.

Go to Uppama Beach on the northern coast of the peninsula and enjoy the long sandy beach and peaceful waters. Cross Warumi Bridge and let the beautiful view of a strait dazzle you.

Waiting on the other end of the bridge is Yagaji Island, which is home to a happy meal and unique landscapes. Grab a bite at Uehara Soba where you can chomp on yummy soba noodles and well-cooked meat.

Don’t forget to stop by Yagaji Tideland and take a walk on the serene dry beach. The chirping of wild birds will entertain and soothe you.

These locations are great spots to check out as you cycle through the island as well. Although the rainy season coming up, you don’t need to wait for the sky to clear up before hitting the beach. At Nakijin and Yagaji, you can have fun even without strong sunlight.
