U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Christian MirandaSanatana, a motor vehicle operator with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, demonstrates the weapon conditions on an M240B machine gun during a combat service support area exercise as part as MEU Exercise on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, May 3, 2025. Marines with the CLB-Alpha Company participated in an exercise to enhance interoperability and strengthen ship-to-shore capabilities. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force, ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premiere crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region. MirandaSanatana is a native of California.
