U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Emmaly Southworth, 18th Munitions Squadron armament maintenance member, turns a wrench while working on the BRU-61 munitions carriage system, at Kadena Air Base, Japan, June 13, 2025. As part of a modernization process, Kadena is the first Department of the Air Force’s operational location where Airmen received depot-level BRU-61 training.
