MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Sherraye Carter, 623rd Air Control Squadron noncommissioned officer in charge of command and control integrations, assembles a strategic communications antenna during Keen Sword 25 at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Oct. 28, 2024. Mobile radar systems allowed the 623rd ACS to provide pilots participating in Keen Sword with the most current information during the exercise. Keen Sword is a biennial, joint and bilateral field-training exercise involving U.S. military and Japan Self-Defense Force personnel, designed to increase readiness and interoperability while strengthening the ironclad U.S.-Japan alliance.
