The Fourth of July weekend is right around the corner, which means a big celebration is coming up on Kadena Air Base.

Come Thursday, July 3, the Air Force installation will host its annual Freedom Fest at Risner Back Lot. Featuring train rides, yard games, bounce houses, a marketplace, food trucks, live entertainment, fireworks and more, this will be an opportunity to celebrate Independence Day as you do Stateside.

There will be plenty of food to choose from with 14 food trucks and 17 private organization food booths expected to be there. Washing down the festival food with a cold beer and other refreshments will make your day.

Have a happy Fourth of July on Kadena Air Base!
