The time to celebrate the Month of the Military Child has come! In this warm, pleasant month, why not visit a zoo to meet various lovable animals with kids?

Within a one-hour drive from most U.S. bases in the Kanto Plain, Yokohama is a wonderful city with three fun zoological gardens (Nogeyama Zoo, Kanazawa Zoo and Zoorasia).

While walking around the zoo, why not ask kids their favorite animals with the following Japanese phrase?

Today's Japanese phrase:

“Dono dobutsu ga suki desuka?” どの動物が好きですか? = What animal do you like most?

“dono.. ga suki desuka?" どの・・が好きですか? = What/which .. de you like (most)?, "dobutsu" 動物 = animal

You can also say:

"Raion ga sukidesu" ライオンが好きです = I like lions.

"Kangaruu ga dukidesu" カンガルーが好きです = ilike kangaroos.

"Zoh ga sukidesu"象が好きです = I like elephants.

"Dono fuku ga sukidesuka?" どの服が好きですか? = What dress do you like most?
