On-nomi, a new trend in Japan, which started due to the closure of bars and pubs is bringing friends and even coworkers together for drinks (whether adult beverages or tea and sodas) and chatting after hours online. The point of these gatherings is to keep in touch with our friends and upkeep a form of normalcy not currently possible in person.
